Day 1
Now I am here in Sibu, Sarawak with my family. We got here by driving for long, torturing hours, well, for my parents. The road is as bumpy as always. I hope that my car can withstand the damage. We had a great night in Sibu, with lots of food to eat. We got Sambal kuay teow, siew mai, roasted chicken, some fish balls, you name it.
We also got to take some photos at the city square. It is so beautiful there, trust me.
We will be heading to Kuching tomorrow. bye bye.
Day 2
The next day, my brother and I ate our breakfast at the hotel restaurant. We ate a lot than we expected. My brother was out of his mind already. He even added Longan to his milk. It was surprisingly tasty though.
We also added some pepper into our coffee. Again it was not bad ACTUALLY.
We literally ate four eggs altogether. There were scrambled egg, soft boiled egg, and I forgot.
After that we continued our journey, to Kuching! When we stopped by Sri Aman junction, we bought some really nice fruit as refreshment. We bought Buah Manggis, Langsat, and some pineapple.
The fruit was so nice I ate all the way from Sri Aman. 😃
When we reached Serian, we stopped by a shop owned by a friend of my mum. She gave us one whole box of Durians and I'm overjoyed.
We reached Kuching by evening. The point I love this city is not just it is where I was born. The Cat City is really relaxing to stay, my relatives there are friendly, people there are also kind. The food there are also super delicious. 😃

(not all of them maybe)
Accommodation here is free for us because my nice uncle always provide his place for us. (Appreciated!)
We had a Chinese style Christmas Eve dinner. After that, I ate plenty of Durians. I just can't resist myself from not eating them.
We then went out for Christmas Countdown at The Spring mall and also got some drink at The Waterfront. We had a really great night out there.
When we're back, it's just 12 o'clock sharp in the morning.
Merry Christmas
Day 3
Most of the shop were closed because hello it was Christmas Day. Luckily we managed to find a place where we can eat our breakfast at 云南园(i dunno if i spelled it correctly). I ordered my favourite Laksa. They served with Bee Hoon topped with a few fresh prawns and most importantly, the strong paste which come with them in a bowl. They also serve you with more Belacan and a small lime as an option to give your paste a more spicy and sour flavour.
After breakfast, we went to a newly opened mall in KCH and window shopped for awhile. We then grabbed some snacks at the food court. Their food was quite nice and I like them very much.

We then hopped to Viva City mall because we love shopping mall and air-conditioner. Too we window shopped for quite a while before we went to visit a UNIQLO branch.
I was fooled by the advertisement of getting a voucher by downloading their app. (*For those who purchase RM150) 😏. Alright my mum bought a sweater there.
We went to Malaysia-China Friendship Park where the statue of Cheng Ho is located. Not so crowded, nice view, nice!
We went to Kuching International Airport (KIA) to pick up my aunty.
After that, we headed to my dad's favourite spot of having Western cuisine, and just to learn that there were no space to fit us in.
So we chose to go to a well-known open air hawker centre in Kuching, and when we just got there, it started to rain. 😊
We made our way to a further hawker centre at Jalan Batu Lintang, where everybody were having Christmas party at home I guess.
Lastly, we finally found a place to eat at Hui Sing Hawker. There I enjoyed their tomato fried kuay teow, sate, whitelady drink, rice dumpling. 😃
When we reached home, I bathed, packed up, and went to bed.
Day 4
We headed to the airport on 5.30 am. I slept for only 4
hours and we need to wake up on 4am to be on time.
When we reached KL, we ate something and went to visit a friend of my family, Sis.
She is now living at an apartment with her husband. Sis gave us a warm welcome and bought us something to eat. Her home was very tidy, everything was in place.
Sis told us that she always celebrated any festival with my family. She also told us that my gong gong(grandpa) and po po(grandma) were like parents to her. We video called our aunt and the moment Sis saw my aunt, she started to weep. Sis told my aunt how much she missed her and invited her to come to KL.
She is facing some health problems but nonetheless, she still give the best to her husband. She made him fruit juice everyday. She did not made for herself because it was too expensive for her, she need to take expensive medication prescribed by her doctor, and she can't walk properly.
Luckily, her neighbour is there to assist her. I feel glad.
We then go checked in the airbnb. After having a nap, we decided to walk to Monash University which is 30 minutes away (according to Google Maps).
When we were not even halfway there, it started to rain. So we rest for awhile at the bus stop until the rain becomes lighter. Then we continue the journey.
When we were just a few kilometres away from the university we gave up and decided to call a grab because of the intense heat and fast moving cars. We got into the uni and wandered around. It was a very big campus and is complete with all kinds of facility. We also asked for some advice about going for further education.
Then, we went to Sunway Pyramid and shopped for some shirts and bought my brother a pair of shoes. We ate our dinner at Kenny Rogers Roaster and had lliao lliao as dessert.
After going back to my place, we ate supper at the Indian shop down the street. I had really nice Roti Canai there. If I had more time staying there I would like to try all their menu. I like the atmosphere too because there were still many people even though it was near midnight already. You can barely see people still wandering along the street here in Brunei at this time.
Day 5
